C.U.P.

The Chapeltown Union of Psychogeographers (C.U.P) is a voluntary civic association. We are interested in how the built environment and human geography of Chapeltown, Leeds influences its residents and visitors both emotionally and psychologically. We meet to walk and talk together, take photographs, make drawings and write and read texts which we can share and discuss here. We want to discover and share as much as we can about Chapeltown's cultures, histories, mythologies and politics.

We are interested in this idea of 'psychogeography' as it relates to other urban or rural areas too. So, wherever you live in the world, we hope our association interests you and that you might like to become a member and share your knowledge and interests.
